Snow Cave

With all the snow we've had this year, Ben took the kids out and built a great snow cave. He made it big enough for our whole family to fit inside. He is hoping to have a camp-out in it with Benson, I think they are crazy.

Christmas Time

In no particular order, here are some pictures from Christmas. This one is the kids in their new Christmas Pajamas on Christmas Eve. They always get to open one present on Christmas Eve. This is a shot of our ward Christmas program. Our kids didn't want to formally participate, but they ran up on stage to be with daddy at the very end. Ben is on the far right, he played the role of the prophet Isaiah.

This is Christmas morning. Ben and Benson got marshmellow guns from Kenadee and so we had to test them out. They loved them! Bennett loved them too, at least the part where the floor was covered in marshmellows! (Benson also got a race track that has battery operated cars that go around it.)

For Christmas Eve we were invited to the Baldwin's home for a bbq, a nativity and a visit from Santa. I was surprised, but Kenadee agreed to play the role of Mary, Ben was Joseph and Bennett was baby Jesus. Benson and I were the official photographers.

This year for Christmas, Ben gave me my long awaited camera! I was so excited! I am now hoping to truly capture the beauty of this state that we live in. It is amazing how much better my new camera is than our old point and shoots. This is our first family photo with the camera. Love it!!

Getting ready for the Holidays

This year before Christmas we did a little secret santa gift for a family in our ward with our friends the Paynes. The boys were excited to be look outs while the daddys went to knock and run.

This is Kenadee and Benson with our only fully done up snowman this year.

Meeting Santa was exciting, until we got close enough to sit on his lap! My kids were more than content to watch from behind the rope.

December = Birthdays!!

Kenadee turned 5 this year. We had a snow themed party, hosted by our amazing friends the Chappells. We had sledding and hot chocolate, candy necklace making, pin the carrot on frosty and a cookie frost. It was a lot of fun. We are sure lucky to have this little lady in our life!

Bennett turned one this month! This little guy was all about the cake. He has a major sweet tooth. For his birthday we had over a few friends for cake and ice cream. Our little guy is such a joy. He is the happiest baby and we are very grateful for him!

1st bowling trip

In November we took our kids to the bowling alley for the first time. No more just wii games of bowling, it was time to experience the real thing. They loved it. It took forever for their balls to make it down to the pins, but they were in heaven!
