Camping in the Redwoods

For memorial day weekend, we decided to go camping up north. We had a great time! Kenadee was a champ through the whole camping trip. She was completely interested in the fire. She loved traveling around in the baby carrier. The scenery we were able to enjoy was breath-taking! I don't know that I have seen prettier countryside.

This is Paul Bunyan and Babe The Blue Ox.
Kenadee and her new friend.
Here is the Chandelier Tree in Legget, California. No, my child is not in a seat belt for this short drive. :)

We went on a gorgeous hike labeled "Damnation Trail." It was a downhill hike through huge redwood trees which ended here at the ocean.

On the beach, Ben and Kenadee under the natural bridge.

This is our campsite. You can't see it from the picture, but our last name was spelt "Mishour," apparently the cute little old lady on the phone misunderstood my last name.

This is another cool tree on our hike. We were able to climb in it. It was like a huge cave.
Here Ben is trying to climb the redwood trees. Or is it just a great photo trick?

Lauren, we went to the Del Norte Coast Redwoods. It was just a few miles south of Crescent City, CA.

What fun pictures you guys. You always go on fun trips out there and take the coolest pictures. Little Kenadee is quite the travelor already. She will be happy that her parents took her everywhere with them when she looks back at pictures when is all grown up.
