New Tastes

We had our good friends the Heaths come visit us here in San Francisco. They were interested in trying different ethnic foods while they were here. I wanted to take them for Indian and Ben thought Thai would be good. We tried both. They appreciated the Thai food more. :) They have a beautiful little girl, Lainey. She was a hoot to have around. I was completely entertained just watching her run around!

Road Trip

We recently returned from a road trip down the coast of California on Highway 1. It was such a fun very relaxed trip. We went without a set plan other than to make it to San Diego. We stopped along the way and found hotels when we were tired. We also tried to see as much as we could. Kenadee did amazingly well on the way down there. I think we were stopping enough for her to be able to stretch. As long as we took turns sitting in the back with her when she was awake she was happy! We made our first stop in Monterey where we went to church and then went on the 17-mile drive there. It was a beautiful drive that took us through Pebble Beach golf course. I think Ben decided to work on his golf game so he could return there to play! :) The drive ended in Carmel By the Sea which is a quaint lovely town. I want to live there someday! We made it to the Hurst Castle on Monday. It was incredible. The main home was enormous with around 170 rooms. There were also three guest houses, two pools, a tennis court and land that went forever. The property was 250 thousand acres. Talk about some breathing room. We continued our trip down south stopping in the town of Solvang. It is a little Dutch town with a ton of character. Tuesday we hit up BelAir, Beverely Hills and Hollywood. The homes there were gigantic. It was fun to see it all. By Tuesday night we finally made it to San Diego where we met up with Brian and Becca Black. There we sat in their hot tub, shopped and went to the beach. Brian and Becca were also kind enough to watch Kenadee so that Ben and I could go to the temple there. (Thanks again you two!) It was a breath taking sight. We had such a great time.

Bumbo

My good friend Courtney let me borrow her Bumbo to see if Kenadee would enjoy it. She did great in it, and I am sold on this product! It is so fun to set her up next to me while I wash dishes, or put her in the middle of the dinner table when Ben and I are eating. For those of you with little ones, this is a great product!

First beach trip

I took Kenadee to the beach the other day for her first time. She was facinated by the waves. It was a beautiful day, very warm. After a few minutes of watching the waves and the people, Kenadee crashed out. She slept very peacefully on a beach blanket. Seriously, what a life to be a baby!

More Pictures

3 Months Old

Kenadee is now three months old. She is a complete joy in our lives. She is a very happy baby who sleeps through the night, which makes for very happy parents as well! She is babbling more and more and lights up a room with her cute smile.

Kenadee's first trip

We recently returned from a trip to Arizona with Kenadee. It was wonderful to hang out with friends and family. Kenadee was spoiled with love, affection and gifts from familly. Her cousins and little aunts couldn't get enough of her, while her older aunts, uncles and grandparents never let her touch the ground. She went to her first movie (where she slept and ate the whole time). We ate out several times, shopped a lot and just hung out. Kenadee also caught her first cold while on vacation. She is doing well though, what a trooper!

We recently attempted family pictures. Our wonderful friend Becca Black was kind enough to take them for us. This was my favorite. As many of you know, I love pictures, I love to take pictures. My poor husband doesn't like to be in pictures however he humors me and allows for family pictures anyways. In about a month I will probably be asking for more pictures!

New Beginnings

We are joining the blogging ranks! Now lets just see if I can figure this out.
